According to Korea Economy, Loen Entertainment has decided to pursue on in buying and ultimately taking over Starship Entertainment. Since both companies seem to have no conflict towards the merge it is said that sometime next month possibly the two companies will sign a merging contract. The cost of this merge you ask? It is said that the cost will be something over 13 million USD for taking over the company which houses Sistar, K.Will, and Boyfriend .
A representative from another company said,
Starship Entertainment is one of the nation’s entertainment companies with the highest business profit ratio . . . Loen Entertainment, which had sought a plan to create a synergy by taking over small and medium entertainment companies, has pointed to Starship Entertainment . . . It appears highly likely that the flow of large entertainment companies taking over small and medium companies with famous singers will continue for the time being.
