Premiering exclusively on DramaFever (www.dramafever.com) this Saturday (4/18), Lee Min Ho (Boys Over Flowers, Heirs) returns to a serious role-playing one of South Korea’s fiercest street fighters in “Gangnam Blues.”
It’s the 1970’s and the Gangnam district of Seoul is embroiled in political corruption as a battle rages for control of development in what is now the city’s most expensive area. Back then, Gangnam was grass and dirt, not its opulence is mocked in the most viewed music view on YouTube. “Gangnam Blues” follows two best friends , Kim Jong Dae (Lee Min Ho) and Baek Yong Ki (Kim Rae Won), who met in an orphanage but were eventually separated. Now grownup, the two friends find themselves on opposite sides of a war between two of Seoul’s most power gangs. From best friends to sworn enemies, Jong Dae and Yong Ki bring a whole new level of tension to an already epic street battle.
Fans of high-octane, hard-core action films should be sure to tune in to “Gangnam Blues” exclusively on DramaFever this Saturday, April 18.
